Whenever he is in town over the weekend, my husband and I love to go on walks together. Weekends are more relaxed for a ‘couple walk’ where we get to catch up on what is up in each other’s lives. We…
Going into week five of the season, owners are starting to get really excited or really worried. In the next couple weeks, you can expect to see some teams take that leap to next level, while others crack under the pressure. Now we have a lot to cover over these past couple of weeks, so lets jump straight into the power rankings going into Week 5.
Owner: Noah Scott
Week 3 Rank: 1
Noah Scott’s team still remains atop of the leaderboards, but is barely hanging on. The team has managed to only snag 1 win this season so far despite being the third highest overall scorer. The team has quickly found themselves 2.5 games behind in the division. It’s not necessarily time to hit the panic button for Bill & Tom’s Team, but it is getting very close. The team just seems to not be able to put the right guys in the right spot week in and week out. The team has an easy divisional matchup this week so look for a win by the fans.
2. Chase’s Aces
Owner: Chase Howard
Week 3 Rank: 3
The Aces are the only undefeated team left and surprising everyone, including the guy’s in their own locker room. The team, under Christian McCaffery has an impressive win over Bill and Tom’s Team, but has yet to really prove themselves as a dominate force in this league. Follow them as they play Marvin’s Martians this week, in what could be the Division III Championship.
3. Green Light District
Owner: Dylan Grant
Week 3 Rank: 2
The District has proven to be a consistent threat but has yet to breakout as a potential championship contender. The weapons are there, but have yet to fire on all cylenders. David Johnson and Rob Gronkowski have yet to fill their expectations, but hopes are high for the Green Light fan base, especially with the return of Alshon Jefferey. We will be able to tell more about the future of this team after an important matchup against the Super Smash Bros.
4. Marvin’s Martains
Owner: Spencer Copas
Week 3 Rank: 5
The Martains remain the highest scoring team in the league, but this team seemed to self destruct in week 4 against the Chipmunks. Alot of this has to do with the team falling victim to Fitzception, but insiders around the league believe that the first ever All-Star still has magic left in his team, even though it’s missing the Fitz.
5. Kerryon Thuggage
Owner: Cameron Stephens
Week 3 Rank: 4
The defending champion is thrilled after the news of LeVeon Bell’s possible week 7 return, considering the team has preformed well in Bell’s absent. The team was able to beat Alec’s after a nice performance from Julio Jones and looks to carry that momentum into this week’s matchup against the divisional leader.
6. Mr. Rodger’s Neighborhood
Owner: Drew Bush
Week 3 Rank: 8
The Neighborhood was able to pull out a victory this week after the dismantle of Ben Roethlisberger and the explosion of Ezekiel Elliott. The team leads the division and that is mostly because the least amount of points has been scored against this organization. Don’t be surprised if the luck starts to change going forward for this team.
7. Sacko Here I Come
Owner: Alec Olinger
Week 3 Rank: 6
Sacko Here I Come drops one rank closer to the Sacko after a 4th consecutive loss. Fans however, should not give up yet on this organization. After making league headlines following the trade with the Chipmunks, the team looks to be more well rounded and more talented. The fate of this team going forward through the next couple weeks is dependent on the performance of newly acquired running back, Dalvin Cook, and the teams overall chemistry. It will be interesting to see how everything plays out this week as they play the Chipmunks.
8. Dalvin and the Chipmunks
Owner: Danny Li
Week 3 Rank: 10
It’s true, everybody loves an underdog story, but insiders are hesitant to put the Chipmunks past the 8th spot just after two impressive wins, considering the team only put up 119 points in the season opener. None the less, the team looks to ride the momentum of setting a League record of 259 points last week, but a lot of new faces will be on this team this week including Ryan Tannehill, Tyler Boyd, and George Kittle. In an Ordinary Gentlemen exclusive interview with Danny Li, he spoke on the Chipmunks going forward this season. He said, “I think my team is doing much better than in the beginning. My main men, the dynamic Texan duo of Watson and Hopkins are finally breaking into their potential. I think my team may go far, mayber even close to winning, but all I can say for sure is that I will not be the sucker of the Sacko.”
This Chipmunk team is the team to watch this week against Alec’s 0–4 team. In this game we will see first hand if the trade will help the fan favorite Chipmunks, or will the 119 Chipmunks make a return for the team.
9. The Super Smash Bros
Owner: Mason Hall
Week 3 Rank: 3
The Super Smash Bros never fail to amaze, even when it seems that they are in a down year. The team scored 212 points in Week 4 proving that they are still a force to be reckoned with. However, with LeVeon Bell’s return seeming to come sooner rather than later, the Super Smash fan base should be worried with the potential loss of production from James Connor.
10. The Fantastic Fournette
Owner: Boone Barton
Week 3 Rank: 7
Last place is an unfamiliar position for this elite dynasty. With problems in Fournette’s locker room plust the multiple injuries the team has faced, it is no surprise they have yet to win a game. How this team handles this adversity will decide if the team can be competitive continuing this season.
