Setting yourself up for the future

So that you would regret and dread less about your life

We all have regrets on things that we should have done. And we end up being harsh on ourselves because we didn’t take the opportunity that was once there. And these feelings of regret and dread would only get worse when you push back on that task or when you realise that you “could’ve” had the life that you wanted if you kept going.

Now these regrets may not be from a specific point in time. Rather, it would be the continual choices and actions that ultimately gives us the outcome that we do not want to have. These actions that we choose, determines the life that we have for ourselves. These choices gives an overall view on how our lives would turn out, in given time frame.

Now personally, I’ve always been a person who regrets things that happened over the course of a few days to a few years. These types of regrets have mainly been the lack of inaction from things that i could’ve done. Where I just looked at the benefits for that present self, and not the consequences or advantages/benefits for my future selves (that would contribute/influence/improve my life for the better). And at that moment it appeared to be a lot simpler and less of a bother to do nothing rather than put the effort on something that could make me happier about my life because the work didn’t appear to be worthwhile. But the problem is that inaction is caused by a lack of understanding and concern about what might happen. For example, applying for a new job but you feel unworthy for the position and that you will mess something up. Or just the amount of pressure or stress might cause you to procrastinate.

But ultimately it’s the habits and calculated risk that we partake, and the desire to improve and the vision that you have is the thing that will get you to the future that you want to live in.

And so, many people already have their goals and desires for what they want to do with their life. And you need to be an active part of it. It is necessary that we at least look over what we should be doing, whether it seems like a good idea or not.

And there are things that we need to do, if we want to avoid the future of regret and dread. And these habits would change our life for the better, as well as satisfying ourselves with our achievements .And if you’re someone who wants to become happier with your

Now the main reason why i’m writing this article now is to set myself up for the future, and set foundations to grow an audience by writing more consistently. So that in the near term future, i would not have to dread about building my audience later in the future from the lack of effort i am doing now.
