Welcoming the Pioneering Custodians of the InterPlanetary Federation!

What is the InterPlanetary Federation? Born out of troubling times in the Alien Worlds galaxy, the IPF is a proposed solution to unite qualified Custodians from participating Syndicates into a proposed new system with Elected Councils, Rank Choice Voting, and Custodian Proposals.

Sounds familiar right? So then why?

One of the advantages of DAOs is that not all Council Members have to agree (and often they don’t), allowing each Syndicate to continuously establish their own cultures based on the values they hold important. As new Custodians are elected, they contribute cultural attributes to their Syndicates that they feel add value.

However, systems of long term accountability, as well as creating pathways of community consensus that integrate all communities, has yet to be accomplished. The InterPlanetary Federation is an opportunity for Custodians to develop new ways for Alien Worlds and DAO ecosystems to evolve. Sometimes the barrier to progression is getting out of your own way.

The first nine Custodians to join the InterPlanetary Federation will be considered the Founding Members of The Interplanetary Federation Constitutional Congress, leaving a legacy that will go down in history as the architects of the future. The draft of the Constitution is exactly that — a draft. These nine custodians will work together to create the Constitution.

The current Members (and Syndicates they’ve served on) of the IPF are:

The IPF has reached out to prominent Custodians to invite them to contribute their values to the Constitution and represent their communities.

We have encouraged Custodial representation of the Miners Union, CryptoMonkeys, and Neri.org and hope to see a vote within their communities that reflects who they wish to represent them.
